Short version: we collect the minimum we need to run the newsletter and build the book, we never sell your data, and the anonymous submissions are genuinely anonymous. The longer version is below.
This policy applies to The Master Mindset website at themastermindset.com and the emails, quiz, referral program, and contribution form connected to it. It explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
We use this information to send you the book and the newsletter, run the quiz and referral program, review contributions, keep the site secure, and improve what we make. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We rely on a small set of trusted service providers to operate, and we share only what each one needs to do its job. These include our email and newsletter platforms, our analytics provider, our referral and recommendation tools, our digital delivery service, and our hosting provider. Each processes your data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
The “where are you stuck” field is anonymous by design. We do not attach your email or any identity to it. Before your words are saved, an automated filter strips out anything that could identify you: names, places, contact details. We keep only the cleaned text, and we use it to decide what to write. We never store the original, unstripped version.
We use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and understand how the site is used. This may involve cookies or similar technology. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and the core site will still work.
We keep your email and subscriber information for as long as you are subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our active systems. Cleaned, anonymous submission text may be kept because it can no longer be linked to you.
You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in the email. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data by contacting us. Sign-in links are passwordless and expire quickly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data, and we will honor valid requests.
The Master Mindset is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy as the project grows. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
